28 October 2026: escrow became optional and is chosen by the seller for each listing. A sale through escrow carries an escrow fee of $159.00 plus GST, paid by the seller and deducted from the sale proceeds; the buyer pays only the price of the units. A direct sale has no escrow fee. Listings created before 28 October 2026 settle through escrow with no escrow fee. The Enterprise API was retired, and its subscription and overage items no longer apply.
9 October 2026: the marketplace success fee was withdrawn. A listing costs $29.00 including GST, paid by the seller, and there is no success fee for the buyer or the seller.
7 October 2026: brokerage, managed-sale and forestry-programme fees were withdrawn; Carbon Trader no longer brokers or sells on a client's behalf. The rows below are the marketplace, settlement, evidence, subscription and data items.
This appendix lists the items on the fee schedule. The current published schedule, and an estimator, are on the fees page, which prevails if the two differ.
