Wallet and custody workflows
The Wallet tab is for customers using Carbon Trader® Wallet custody or tracking wallet-linked activity.
What the wallet is used for
- Holding purchased NZUs in Carbon Trader custody.
- Supplying NZUs for wallet-backed listings.
- Tracking wallet activities.
- Requesting withdrawal or delivery to an ETS account.
- Viewing custody statements where available.
Wallet-backed listings
If you create a listing from the Carbon Trader® Wallet, the platform can reserve the required NZUs. This helps ensure the listing is backed by available supply.
If a wallet-backed listing is cancelled or expires without settlement, reserved NZUs should be released back to available wallet balance.
ETS-source listings
If you create a listing from your own ETS account, the listing may remain pending until seller authority, escrow or delivery requirements are confirmed.
Wallet withdrawals
To withdraw NZUs:
- Go to Account → Wallet.
- Enter the destination details.
- Submit the withdrawal request.
- Wait for review/approval and processing.
Withdrawal requests may show statuses such as pending review, approved, rejected or cancelled.
