Sign in, passwords and security

Signing in

Use the website Account or Sign in button. The hosted sign-in page may offer:

  • Email and password sign-in.
  • Google sign-in, if enabled.
  • Apple sign-in, if enabled.
  • Password reset.

Approved users should sign in with the same email used during registration.

When you can sign in

You can sign in only after registration approval creates or activates your customer account. If you completed verification but have not been approved, sign-in may be blocked.

Forgot password

Use the Forgot your password? link on the hosted sign-in page. Depending on the deployed login configuration, you may receive a password reset code or Carbon Trader reset instructions by email. Follow the email that arrives most recently.

If you do not receive an email:

  1. Check spam/junk.
  2. Confirm you are using the approved account email.
  3. Ask support to send a password reset link or reset instructions.

Change password while signed in

Approved users can change their password from:

Account → Profile and verification → Change password

You will need your current password and a new password that satisfies the password policy.

Security tips

  • Do not share password reset links or codes.
  • Do not send screenshots containing full tokens, reset codes or passwords.
  • Use a modern password manager.
  • Sign out when using a shared device.
  • Contact support immediately if you suspect account compromise.
