| Applicant | A person or organisation completing registration. |
| Approved user | A customer account approved to sign in and use customer tools. |
| Auto review | Registration is complete and ready for automated/manual approval review. |
| Buy request | A public or private request to buy NZUs or credits. |
| Carbon Trader® Wallet | Custody option where NZUs are held by Carbon Trader on behalf of the customer. |
| Credit listing | A listing for NZUs or non-NZU carbon/credit instruments. |
| ETS account | A user’s external Emissions Trading Scheme account for holding/transferring NZUs. |
| Evidence pack | Documents/data supporting a retirement, trade, claim or holding. |
| KYC pending | Identity/contact verification or trading-profile completion is not fully done locally. |
| Manual review | Registration or workflow requires Carbon Trader review. |
| NZU | New Zealand Unit. |
| RFQ | Request for quote. |
| Settlement | The process of receiving funds and units and releasing them under platform rules. |
| Supplier profile | Customer record describing a supplier/project developer/source of credits. |
| Wallet withdrawal | Request to move units from Carbon Trader custody to another destination. |
