NZU marketplace trading

The Marketplace trading tab lets approved users create NZU listings, create buy requests and act on marketplace opportunities.

Public marketplace discovery

Anyone can view public listings and buy requests. Approved users can act on them by signing in.

Create an NZU auction/listing

  1. Open Account → Marketplace trading.
  2. Choose Create NZU auction / listing.
  3. Enter title, quantity, price per NZU, optional reserve, optional buy-now price and bid increment.
  4. Set start and end times.
  5. Choose seller funding source: Carbon Trader® Wallet or own ETS account.
  6. Choose service tier.
  7. Submit the listing.

Wallet-source listings

If the listing is backed by Carbon Trader® Wallet NZUs, the platform can reserve the quantity and publish or schedule the listing when rules allow.

ETS-source listings

If the listing is backed by your own ETS account, it may remain pending until authority/escrow confirmation is complete.

Create a buy request

  1. Open Marketplace trading.
  2. Choose Create buy request.
  3. Enter title, quantity, offer per NZU, delivery preference, service tier and end time.
  4. Submit the buy request.

Buy requests generally require funding before they become fully active.

Place a bid

From a listing, enter your bid amount. The platform converts per-NZU bid pricing into the full lot amount where applicable.

Buy now

If a listing has buy-now enabled, an approved buyer can select buy-now. This creates a settlement and the buyer is directed to payment/funding instructions.

Sell into a buy request

If you have eligible supply, you can sell into an active buy request. Settlement then depends on seller NZU delivery and buyer funding.

Cancel your own posting

You may cancel your own listing or buy request where status and rules allow. Wallet-backed reservations are released when cancellation rules complete.
