What happens next
Carbon Trader reviews the credit type, the project and registry, proof that the credits are yours to sell, and what the credit can and cannot be claimed for.
- Voluntary credits need project, registry, vintage, retirement and claim-support evidence.
- Nature or biodiversity-related credits are assessed carefully and are not automatically carbon offsets.
- Credits that are not NZ ETS eligible are labelled that way on any listing.
